Mode

Logo

A PNG with a transparent background works best. A plain-colored background (like a white JPG) is removed automatically.

Cap shape

Logo size28.0mm

The logo's longest side. With "Logo outline" the cap follows the logo's shape with a small rim; any other shape grows just enough to hold the whole logo with the same rim (Rounded rectangle follows the logo's proportions). Either way the cap always covers at least a 17mm square around the switch, and the base follows the cap.

Cap color

1-color logo

Logo color

The logo prints in up to 3 of its own colors. With 1-color, it prints in the logo color, with its dark details cut out to show the cap color.

Text

One letter per cap, updates as you type.

1-color emoji

Prints every emoji in its cap's legend color instead of the emoji's own colors, with its dark details (eyes, mouth, outlines) cut out so it stays recognizable. Fewer filament swaps, and it fits any color theme.

Click a symbol or emoji to add it as its own cap at the end of the set.

Pattern on the base

Picks every color for you: the base, each cap, and the letters. Change any color yourself and it switches back to Custom. The camo and Cow themes also add a pattern to the base (camo blobs or cow patches), which shows up in the 3MF (the STL has no color).

Base & Fit

Base color

Base shape

For fused bases. Every shape keeps at least the same wall around each key as the rectangle; shapes with rounded or angled ends get a little longer so their corners don't cut in. The tag puts the keyring hole in the base itself, on the keyring's end, instead of adding a loop.

Fuse adjacent bases into one solid block Vertical layout (hangs top-to-bottom)

Base footprint21.0mm

Key clearance0.45mm

Gap on each side between a keycap and the wall of its pocket, so the cap can press down without rubbing. Raise it if caps catch on the walls; lower it if they wobble.

Extra outer wall1.7mm

Thickens the outside of a fused base without moving the keys apart. Thin outer walls can show faint lines on the outside where the walls between keys meet them; 1.7mm (about a 2.7mm wall beside each key) hides them.

Base thickness17.4mm

Plate hole (MX clip)14.00mm

Base floor2.0mm

Switch clearance5.5mm

Plate thickness1.5mm

Lower clearance15.8mm

Recess depth8.0mm

Base top bevel0.8mm

Base bottom bevel0.8mm

Switch clearance is the empty void below the plate a real switch's lower housing travels into before its retention clips can engage — too shallow and the switch bottoms out before it snaps in. Recess depth (how deep each cap nests into the base) is purely cosmetic and always kept a safe distance from this mechanism regardless of how deep you go — it may get capped below what you set if there isn't enough room left over after the floor, switch clearance, and plate thickness are reserved. Base floor is the solid layer under the switch that its bottom rests on.

Real Cherry MX plate-mount spec: a 14mm clip hole in a ~1.5mm plate, closed on the bottom with a solid floor (Base floor, 2mm by default) that the bottom of the switch rests on.

Shape & Size

Shape (all caps)

Base width18.0mm

Top width13.5mm

Height10.0mm

Wall thickness1.4mm

Top thickness1.5mm

The logo is printed this thick, through the whole top of the clicker, so its colors run several layers deep.

Corner radius1.6mm

Only affects square-shaped caps — other shapes (round, hexagon, star, etc.) don't have independently-roundable corners in this model, so this has no visible effect on them.

Top bevel0.8mm

Bottom bevel0.8mm

Stem wall0.65mm

Wall around the cross-shaped socket on the underside. It has to slide inside the round or square ring around the stem on box-style switches: 0.65mm makes a 5.5mm-wide stem, about the size of store-bought keycaps. If it won't fit your switch, lower this; if it cracks, raise it.

Legend

Legend size0.62×

How much of the cap's top face the text can fill — text is scaled to fit both width and height, so a longer word shrinks automatically instead of overflowing.

Legend depth0.6mm

Lug size10.7mm

Hole diameter6.6mm

The ring loop takes every bit of pulling and impact force on the whole keychain — kept thick and overlapped into the base on purpose.
